Rebates & Incentives
Morocco offers a 30% cash rebate on qualifying local production spend through the Centre Cinématographique Marocain (CCM). The rebate is uncapped at project level, making Morocco especially attractive for features, series, commercials and streaming productions.
To qualify, productions generally must spend at least around MAD 10 million (roughly USD 1 million) in Morocco, work a minimum number of days locally, partner with a CCM-registered Moroccan production company, pass a cultural test and provide a financial guarantee. A VAT exemption on production costs is also available.
As criteria and thresholds can be updated, African Fixer will confirm the current rebate terms and manage the CCM application and documentation during production planning.
