Africa offers some of the most diverse and breath-taking filming locations in the world—from vast deserts and lush jungles to bustling cities and historic landmarks. But before you roll the cameras, you need to secure the right permits to ensure a smooth production process.

Here’s what you need to know before filming on the continent:

1. Each Country Has Unique Permit Regulations

Africa is not one-size-fits-all when it comes to film permits. Every country has its own process, requirements, and approval times. Some locations require national film office approval, while others may need additional permits from local municipalities or government agencies.
