Visa Requirements
Foreign crew must obtain a visa before arrival at a DRC embassy or consulate. A visa on arrival is available if pre-arranged.

International Crew Accreditation
All foreign crew members must be accredited by the Ministry of Media before filming.

General Film Permit
A General Film Permit is issued by the local Municipality where filming takes place.
Drone Permit
A separate drone permit is not required in the DRC, but drone use must be included in the General Film Permit application.
Equipment Customs Clearance
The DRC is not a Carnet country, meaning temporary importation of filming equipment requires a customs clearance agent.
Safety and Security
While major cities like Kinshasa and Lubumbashi are generally safe, eastern regions near Rwanda, Uganda, and Burundi may be unstable.
