Safety and Security
Central and southern Cameroon — Yaoundé, Douala, Kribi and Limbe — are the main, generally workable production areas with standard precautions. Importantly, the Anglophone North-West and South-West regions (around Bamenda and Buea) are affected by a separatist crisis, and the Far North borders the Lake Chad insurgency, both carrying serious travel advisories. Region-by-region planning and current advice are essential, alongside malaria precautions.
