Visa Requirements
International cast and crew should confirm visa and work permission requirements before travelling. Typical documents may include a valid passport, flight details, accommodation details, invitation letter, crew list and equipment list.

A completed visa application form, a passport valid for at least six months, a passport-sized photo, a flight itinerary, and hotel booking confirmation. If applicable, a letter of invitation and a vaccination certificate, including proof of Yellow Fever vaccination, may also be required.

Filming permits are arranged through the relevant authorities, with national-park and heritage permissions where needed. Sani Pass and remote routes require 4x4s and planning. Work through a local fixer, drawing on South African resources, and allow lead time.
Drone Permit
Drone filming requires authorisation from the civil aviation authority, with restrictions near sensitive sites. Permissions should be arranged in advance; the mountains are otherwise superb for aerials.
